Why willpower alone fails
Porn runs on a loop.
Sever it.
A trigger hits. Tension builds. You act out. Shame sets up the next round. Fighting harder after the urge has started is usually too late. SEVER cuts in earlier: it shows you your patterns, adds friction, and gives you something to do in the moment.
- 01TriggerBoredom, stress, late nights alone
- 02UrgeTension builds, autopilot takes over

Inside SEVER
One app.
Every hard moment.
02Check inFree
Thirty seconds. Every day.
Log how you feel and how strong the urges are. Log relapses honestly. SEVER turns it into a picture of when you are most at risk.
03Fight the urgePremium
One tap when it hits.
Fight the Urge starts a lockdown: voice guidance, breathing, movement prompts and focus tasks that pull you off autopilot until the wave passes.
04ShieldPremium
Make the first click harder.
Site Shield blocks 200,000+ adult sites and App Shield blocks the apps that pull you in. Not an impossible lock. A harder path back.
05Reset planPremium
Follow a plan, not a mood.
A 38-mission Reset Plan that runs from Day 1 to Day 365: name the pattern, cut the easiest access points, map your danger windows. Day 1 is free.
06ProgressFree
Watch the loop lose.
Recovery status, badges, levels and your Recovery Setup score, all in one place, so you can see the habit weakening.

I didn't build SEVER for motivation highs. I built it for the exact second a man needs a protocol, a voice, and a system strong enough to carry him through. It's the app I wished I had when I started my journey many years ago.
Is SEVER really free?
Yes. SEVER has a permanent Free Core: streak and habit tracking, daily check-ins, relapse tracking and logs, and basic progress tools. There is no trial countdown and no ads. Premium is optional and adds the app blocker, Site Shield, the private community, the recovery library and Fight the Urge tools.
Does SEVER block porn?
SEVER Premium includes App Shield, which adds friction to the apps you choose, and Site Shield, which blocks 200,000+ adult-content websites. No blocker can promise to stop every site or be impossible to bypass, so SEVER pairs blocking with tracking, check-ins and urge tools.
Is SEVER available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. SEVER is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
Is my data private?
SEVER does not save or send your browsing history or the list of apps and sites you choose to block. Your recovery notes are yours, and you can delete your account and data at any time.
How is SEVER different from QUITTR or other quit porn apps?
Many quit porn apps lock everything behind a subscription or a short trial. SEVER keeps the daily system (streak, check-ins and relapse logs) free for good, and charges only for the optional protection and recovery tools. See our full comparison of the best apps to quit porn for details.
Who is SEVER for?
Adults who want to quit or cut back on porn, especially people stuck in relapse cycles who have tried willpower alone. It is a self-help tool, not a substitute for professional care.
